Hi! My name is Kellen Aguilar and I am an experienced writer, web and graphic designer, and teacher. I earned my bachelor's degree in English and History from Whittier College. After graduation, I interned at the American Youth Symphony and the Los Angeles Review of Books. I worked as a substitute teacher for the Whittier Union High School District and taught SAT reading and writing at Elite Educational Institute. I also taught myself Wordpress, HTML, and CSS and began offering web design and other services through my website, Kellen Aguilar Consulting. Currently, I am pursuing graduate studies in English at Northwestern University.

Discipline, consistency, and open-mindedness are foundational to my work ethic, which is the most valuable asset that I have to offer. I'm passionate about reading, writing, and language. I strive to turn my talent and interest in writing into a career. That said, I am also a curious person who loves to learn new skills. I am not discouraged by failure, but rather I see failure as a necessary step in the process of learning new things.
